“Chartering is not a job for me, it’s my desire for fishing. Watching my clients catch fish makes my day. I want my clients to have a fun, adventurous, and memorable trip.
I am also a Professional Angler on the Elite Redfish Series Tour. I enjoy teaching my clients what I’ve learned about different techniques, and what could make them a better angler.”
Captain Mark Wyckoff
CPR Bass Charters Captain & Fishing Guide
Hello, my name is Captain Mark Wyckoff. I am the owner of CPR Bass Charters in beautiful Lake County, Florida. I run charter fishing trips for large mouth bass, fun pan fishing trips for families with children, and also sightseeing tours. I was born and raised here in Lake County, and at a early age I would go on fishing trips with my father, and often was able to bring along friends to share the experience. These trips were very memorable because I learned so much from the outdoors. Fast forward about 15 years; I'm still fishing the same waters as in my youth. We have an amazing fishery in our backyard and I’d love to show you what The Harris Chain of Lakes has to offer. Harris Chain of Lakes has 75,000 plus acres of water between the 7 lakes, and offers a wide variety of fish species, aquatic animals and birds, with amazing views.
I am a United States Coast Guard Certified Captain, a State of Florida Firefighter, and an Emergency Medical Technician.

A Shakopee fisherman landed a 49-inch-long flathead catfish last month, tying his own state record in the catch-and-release category for the species.
Using a 100-pound test line, Jake Robinson caught the catfish on May 15 in the Minnesota River near Savage. It had a girth of 33.5 inches, identical to the previous record catfish he caught on June 7, 2016.
Because of different markings, they appear to be different fish.
According to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, there are two kinds of Minnesota state fish records: one for catching and keeping the biggest fish in each species based on certified weight; and the other for the length of a caught-and-released muskellunge, lake sturgeon or flathead catfish.
